In order to provide the most economic foundation solution for this prestigious project, we used a factor of safety of 2.25 in our piling calculations; we installed and tested preliminary piles enabling this low factor of safety to be used with full design approval.
This technical approach benefitted the client in terms of both cost and time; the piling was completed using 2 CFA rigs in just 11 days.
Resulting from this successful first contract for a new customer, we have since secured repeat business with them.
